High Definition Tracking:
Recording data at 15-second intervals is truly high definition tracking. Knowing the current location and trip history of your vehicle offers a multitude of advantages, such as restricting unauthorized vehicle use, controlling unscheduled stops and improving route planning. Now you will know where your vehicle is and, on what street, since our software delivers with high definition street maps for the major centers - at what speed and at what time your vehicle was. This in turn improves productivity, customer service and profitability.
On Board Computer:
Over speeding, over revving, excessive idling, harsh braking, and harsh acceleration can be recorded. Improve your driver habits by making use of Powertrack's accurate data.
Fuel Tank Profiling: The fuel tank quantity is monitored and recorded. Use this feature to ascertain refueling and siphoning events. Powertrack will show date, time and position of such events.
Note: Fuel tank profiling is accomplished by measuring the voltage output from the fuel quantity sender unit installed on the vehicle. As with most fuel gauges, this is not an exact science. However, provided that the sender unit on the vehicle is operational and reasonably accurate, our fuel tank profiling system will provide an indication of when and where a vehicle is refueled or siphoned from. Powertrack Africa will not be held responsible for poor or faulty fuel quantity sender units or fuel tank gauging systems.
Impact Sensor: Our standard impact sensor will record date and time of an impact and Powertrack will supply you with 2 minutes and 30 seconds history prior to impact on a second by second basis. The fleet manager can be informed via SMS of such an event. The information recorded provides a second by second reconstruction of the event. The user can view the trip details and reconstruction of the accident on the Trip Replay on the Powertrack Professional software.
The user can specify NO-GO-AREAS, KEEP-IN-AREAS or WAY POINTS (i.e. official stops and/or known clients). Should there be a violation of the said parameters, the vehicle can be immobilized remotely via the Powertrack Professional software.
